Dinner at Northwoods Gourmet Girl

Recently I had the pleasure of being invited to join a private dinner at Northwoods Gourmet Girl with the Northwoods Wellness Collective and the Moosehead Lake Chamber of Commerce. It was a very special dinner that I won’t soon forget. There’s something special about having a dining experience curated especially for your group!

Location

Northwoods Gourmet Girl is located off a side street. If you’re not looking for it, you would drive right past! It’s by the Masonic Lodge – 2 Depot St. Greenville Junction, ME 04442.

Dinner

Our crew arrived in waves, as some of us had gone on a cross-country skiing adventure together before going to dinner, and some were just coming for the dinner. Local beer and a great wine selection were waiting for us, as well as a nice selection of hors-d’oeuvres to fuel our appetites! Bonus – the bar was pouring Conundrum Wine – which is my FAVORITE special occasion wine! It’s so crisp and delicious but it pricy. It’s definitely worth the price, so I splurge whenever I see it!

The second course was a butternut squash soup with truffle oil, followed by a savory buffet of farm to table foods, including mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, Caprese salad, root vegetables, sliders, eggrolls, greek salad, crab cakes, and more!

The Crew

I caught the crew preparing for the final course, and I asked if I could take a few photos. There was also a group seated in the kitchen – how amazing that would be to experience! Willow and I had the pleasure of dining at The Lost Kitchen last year, and I really enjoyed the personalization of that experience. I felt a similar feeling of bliss while at the Northwoods Gourmet Girl’s Kitchen.

Dessert was nothing short of marvelous. All of the desserts were gluten-free for our group, and we didn’t hold back!!!

I’m definitely looking forward to going back here and taking Willow and some of our other crew!
